Launched on December 11th, 2022, Artemis 1 completed its journey, traveling over 1.4 million miles around the Moon and returning safely to Earth with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, west of Baja California.  This record-breaking mission paves the way for future lunar landings and sets the stage for our ambitious goal of reaching Mars. As we push the boundaries of human exploration, we’re learning more about our universe and our place in it.
